Toddlers

Books To Read To Toddlers

Toddlers love listening to books that have been written specifically to entertain them with their choice of language, rhythm, humour and context, which can be familiar, new or imaginary. The colourful and brilliantly illustrated picture books not only help in keeping the young ones engaged, but also teach them how to use pictures to determine what the text could be saying or decoding a word. Listening and looking at books will help toddlers not only develop their language skills but also help them start formulating ideas about the environment around them.
