Gemma misses her lost mother terribly when Mike moves to the area who has a terrible secret to hide about his missing mother. A gripping story ensues with Gemma figuring out Mike’s secret which deals with complex characters and harsh realities of relationships. Another fantastic novel by the celebrated author.
